Aloysius Pieris, SJ, is the founder and director of Tulana Research Center, Colombo, Sri Lanka. An indologist and theologian, he is also an expert on Buddhist Philosophy as well as Professor of Pali Abhidhammika Literature. He has held Chairs of theology in many universities and has been a guest lecturer on many theology faculties. A prolific writer, he has published widely in many journals.  His most recent book is Mysticism of Service: A Short Treatise of Spirituality.
